Yellowstone National Park Part 1

Sorry to keep you all waiting ,but it has been a combination of very limited service and having too much fun :)
We drove ,and hiked,and took thousands of pictures, saw animals, got stuck in many "Bison Jams", fished, hiked some more, learned all about our changing earth, volcanoes and sulfur springs, and ate great food.
I can't even begin to choose pictures but here are just a few.!!!

First day,   first picture perfect painting op!!!

Arriving at our campground. Can you guess why we picked this one?   :)

Came upon a traffic jam by a bridge, got out to see and found ourselves ON a bridge with a bison deciding he would cross and stop traffic. he walked about 4 feet from us..... It was the first of many but first time scared us a bit.

"Old Faithful" amazing how predictable it is , every 90 -92 minutes!!

The whole park is covered in wildflowers. I am in heaven.

Fireweed everywhere!! It makes me think of  sister Donna and Alaska!!!!!!!! Love it. Same smells too. A treat I didn't expect

We bushwhacked up a hillside to find this patch of snow. August 4th or so ,9068 ft high. Boy do we feel the altitude
